Tips and Rules for Planning a Successful Christmas Party:
(1) Don’t go at it yourself
The number one rule in planning a company holiday party is to bring in assistance. Having a committee to help organize, brainstorm ideas and themes, and contribute input can turn a disastrous party into a smash hit.
(2) Leave the Office
If possible, bring the party to a venue other then the office. A new environment can give a company party an entirely different mood. Being surrounded by computers, equipment and inboxes full of reminders of work-to-do will surely dampen a party. Don’t force your employees to have to find their Christmas spirit in the middle of their work environment. Provence Bistro and Niakwa Country Club have the perfect meeting room for every sized company party.
(3) Secret Santa turned Charity
Instead of a Secret Santa this year, try setting up donations for the poor or underprivileged. Who really wants another Christmas ornament or reindeer light bulb tie? Bring the holiday spirit to the less fortunate.
(4) Music and Food
Music and appetizers are a must. If it is in the budget, allow us to prepare a full three or four course meal for you employees. For smaller budgets, drinks and hors d’oeuvres are a delightful treat for a hard working staff. Christmas parties are never complete without celebratory music, whether a disc jockey or simple audio equipment with holiday tunes.
(5) Drink Responsibly
Providing a festive cocktail option (with a suggested 2 drink maximum to prevent tales for following years) is always welcomed by employees. Provence Bistro and Niakwa Country Club can provide beer, wine, liquor, and non alcoholic options for every banquet and party.
